RESOLUTION NO. 88 -017 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did in <br />Resolution No. 88 -009 on February 8, 1988, authorize the <br />advertisement for bids for supplying all labor, equipment, <br />and materials and performing all work required for the <br />mowing of grass on all exterior sides of the taxiways, <br />runways, and apron at Cox Field Municipal Airport, Paris, <br />Texas, which bids were received until 10:00 o'clock A.M., <br />Wednesday, March 9, 1988; and, <br />WHEREAS, the best bid for such construction was made by <br />White's Mowing & Landscaping, 254 19th S.E., Paris, Texas, <br />and it should be awarded the bid for such construction; and, <br />WHEREAS, the form of contract for such construction <br />project is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and such form <br />should be approved; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, that the Bid of White's Mowing and Landscaping in the <br />amount of $395.00, is hereby accepted and let conditioned <br />upon said contractor meeting all of the terms and specifica- <br />tions included in the bid documents; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of <br />Paris, Billy Joe Burnett, be, and he is hereby authorized <br />and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the <br />contract with White's Mowing and Landscaping for the mowing <br />of grass on all exterior sides of the taxiways, runways, and <br />apron at Cox Field Municipal Airport, Paris, Texas, upon the <br />terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A <br />attached hereto. <br />Passed and adopted this 14th day of March, 1988. <br />rip V_ <br />Nurnett, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />atti.e Cunningham, Cit C er <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />T.
