RESOLUTION NO. 88 -022 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did <br />heretofore on the 8th day of July, 1985, in Resolution No. <br />85 -059, authorize a lease with Northern Telecom Finance <br />Corporation for equipment for telephone service; and, <br />WHEREAS, Northern Telecom Finance Corporation assigned <br />its rights and interest to Security Pacific National Bank <br />and the City of Paris approved such assignment on October <br />19, 1987, in Resolution No. 87 -114; and, <br />WHEREAS, Security Pacific National Bank has elected to <br />assign its rights and interest under said lease to U. S. <br />West Financial Services, Inc., Western Commercial Division, <br />6300 South Syracuse Way, Suite 195, Englewood, Colorado <br />80111; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interest�of the citizens of <br />the City of Paris that such Notice of Assignment, attached <br />hereto as Exhibit A be accepted; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the Director of Finance of the City of Paris, <br />W. E. Anderson, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed <br />to acknowledge and accept on behalf of the City of Paris the <br />Notice of Assignment attached hereto as Exhibit A with U.
