RESOLUTION NO. 87 -047 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did <br />heretofore in Resolution No. 84 -008 authorize the <br />contracting with the Chamber of Commerce of Lamar County, <br />Inc., to administer the Visitors & Convention Council, which <br />contract expires on the 30th day of September, 1987; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is pleased with the <br />accomplishments through the administration of the Visitors & <br />Convention Council and is desirous of renewing the <br />contractual arrangement with the Chamber of Commerce of <br />Lamar County, Inc., for a term of three (3) years, beginning <br />October 1, 1987, and ending September 30, 1990; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, Billy Joe <br />Burnett, be, and he is hereby authorized to execute on <br />behalf of the City of Paris, a contract with the Chamber of <br />Commerce of Lamar County, Inc., upon the terms and <br />conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A attached <br />hereto. <br />Passed and adopted this 13th day of April, 1987. <br />,• - Burnett, or <br />ATTEST: <br />w W"WE <br />Cunningham, <br />APPROVED AS TO RM: <br />K. -Haynes, City Attorney <br />
