Mayor Burnett called for consideration and action on a request of the <br />Fixed Base Operator at Cox Field for an amendment to the contract <br />eliminating the security requirement. <br />Roger Sadler, Route 7, Paris, Texas, appeared before the Council <br />requesting release of a $10,000.00 certificate of deposit that was <br />posted at the time of the signing of the contract with the City, and <br />stated that it was like a performance bond. Mr. Sadler told the <br />Council that he has shown the City that he could operate a Fixed Base <br />Operation, and would appreciate the release of the certificate of <br />deposit. <br />after a considerable amount of discussion, a motion was made by <br />Councilman Clifford, seconded by Councilman Kent to refer this matter <br />to the Airport Advisory Board for their recommendation. The motion <br />carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 87 -059 authorizing and directing the Mayor, Billy Joe <br />Burnett to execute on behalf of the City of Paris an agreement with <br />Municipal Software Consultants, Inc. for a municipal application <br />software package for agenda indexing was presented. A motion was made <br />by Councilman Fendley, seconded by Councilman Clifford for approval of <br />the Resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
