554 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87 -010 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did <br />heretofore, in Resolution No. 86 -001, award the contract for <br />construction of Additions to Water Treatment Plant to <br />Heritage Constructor's, Inc and, <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering, John Buss, <br />recommends the amendment of said contract by Change Order <br />No. 7 attached hereto as Exhibit "A ", which provides for a <br />net increase in contract price of $15,100.00 to a total of <br />$3,104,899.00 with no increase in contract time, for includ- <br />ing 5,000 pounds of additional structural steel to replace <br />corroded or worn out members and shafts on the existing <br />sludge rake and flocculators in the existing sedimentation <br />basin; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the contract for Additions to the Water Treat- <br />ment Plant is hereby amended by Change Order No. 7 attached <br />hereto as Exhibit "A" and the Mayor of the City of Paris, <br />Billy Joe Burnett, is hereby authorized and directed, on <br />behalf of the City of Paris, to execute said Change Order. <br />Passed and adopted this 12th day of January, 1987. <br />ATTEST: <br />Mattie Cunningham, Cit er <br />APPROVED AS FORM: <br />K.
