1 <br />576 <br />ADDENDUM NUMBER ONE TO LEASE AGREEMENT DATED <br />JULY 14, 1986, BETWEEN THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS, AND LOYD BARROW AND WIFE, SYBIL BARROW <br />STATE OF TEXAS <br />COUNTY OF LAMAR <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS That this Addendum to <br />Lease Agreement dated July 14, 1986, between the City of <br />Paris, Paris, Texas, and Loyd Barrow and Wife, Sybil Barrow, <br />entered into this the 26th day of January, 1987, by the City <br />of Paris, Paris, Texas, acting by and through its Mayor, <br />Billy Joe Burnett, duly authorized, and Loyd Barrow and <br />Wife, Sybil Barrow, <br />WITNESSETH: <br />.It is hereby mutually agreed by and between the City of <br />Paris, Paris, Texas, and Loyd Barrow and Wife, Sybil Barrow, <br />hereinafter called "CITY" and hereinafter called "BARROW ", <br />that the requirements for CITY to procure and be responsible <br />for the procurement of irrigation permits permitting <br />effluent irrigation on BARROW'S property is hereby waived in <br />order that CITY'S construction project will not be delayed <br />until such time as said permits can be issued, it being <br />understood that the CITY has and will continue to make <br />diligent effort to procure said permits and in the event <br />that such permits are not issued, shall not be grounds for <br />cancellation of the afore described lease agreement, <br />provided that CITY continues to make diligent effort to <br />apply for and pursue the issuance of said permits. <br />It is further understood and agreed that Section 3.1 <br />and Section 3.5 of Paragraph III are hereby amended 'to <br />conform with the above agreement. <br />Executed on the dates shown in acknowledgements below. <br />CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS <br />,i <br />t :� .- Bilrnett, Mayor <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br />
