586 <br />presented at the next regular Council meeting. The motion carried 7 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Burnett called for the tabulations of bids for a City <br />Depository for the City of Paris funds, and the following bids were <br />presented: <br />City Manager Malone advised the Council that only one bid had been <br />received that being from the Liberty National Bank. <br />W. E. Anderson, Director of Finance, appeared before the Council and <br />told the Council that the bid of the Liberty National Bank was not as <br />good as the one two years ago, but it was an acceptable bid and <br />recommended approval of the bid. <br />After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Hoog, seconded by <br />Councilman Wortham to award the depository contract to the Liberty <br />National Bank for a two year period beginning March 1, 1987. The <br />motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mavor Burnett called for tabulations of bids for material and labor <br />for painting Cox Field primary 35/17 runway, and the following bids <br />were presented: <br />J. A. Reke & Son $12,194.10 <br />Traffic Systems, Inc. $17,932.50 <br />Airport Markings of America $ 9,564.00 <br />Dick Boots, Director of Facilities, appeared before the Council <br />recommending the low bid of Airport Marking of America. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Folmar, seconded by Councilman <br />Francis awarding the bid to Airport Markings of America in the amount <br />of $9,564.00. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Hoog, seconded by Councilman kbrtham <br />to accept the resignation of Tamty Haynes as a member of the Civil <br />Service Commission as he has been appointed Director of the Civil <br />Service Commission. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 87 -016 granting authority to transfer control of the <br />community antenna television franchise rights granted in Ordinance <br />No. 84 -039 from McCaw South Central Communications, Inc. to Cooke <br />CableVision, Inc. was presented. A motion was made by Councilman <br />Folmar, seconded by Councilman Hoog for approval of the Resolution. <br />The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
