MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />March 22, 1984 <br />The City Council of the City of Paris met in special session, Thursday, March <br />22, 1984 5:15 P. M. Mayor Graham called the meeting to order with the following <br />Councilmen present: Donald G. Wilson, Gene McWaters, Jr., George Fisher, Jr., <br />A. L. Ware, and Jeff Hoog. Also present were City Manager David H. Doty, City <br />Attorney, T. K. Haynes, and City Clerk, H. C. Greene. <br />Mayor Graham announced that the Council would go into executive session, and the <br />regular session was declared closed, and the executive session open. <br />Discussion was had with the City Attorney concerning a suit in 6th District <br />Court titled Walter Williams, Plaintiff vs the City of Paris, Harold Greene and <br />David Doty, Defendents. The suit requesting the court for a writ of mandamus <br />requiring the City Clerk to print the Plaintiff's name on the ballot of April 7, <br />1984 election for Councilman, District 2. <br />The executive session was declared closed, and the regular session open. <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. <br />Joe Graham, Mayor, City of Paris <br />ATTEST: <br />H.
