gV # <br />k. <br />Mayor Graham requested the reading of an Ordinance revising the Fuel <br />Adjustment Clause for Texas Power & Light Company. City Attorney <br />Haynes stated that he did not recommend the approval at this time. A <br />motion was made by Councilman Fisher, seconded by Councilman McWaters to <br />table the matter. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Sokoll requested authorization to advertise for bids for <br />a Civil Defense Warning System. Mr. Jeff Hogg, 4120 Morningside addition <br />appeared before the Council with 50 pages of signed petitions supporting <br />the alarm system. A motion was made by Councilman Fisher, seconded by <br />Councilman Williams authorizing the advertising of bids as requested. <br />The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Sokoll requested authorization to advertise for bids for <br />dirt contract at the City Sanitary Landfill, for a Sickle Mower for <br />the Water and Sewer Department, for Underwater Rescue Equipment for the <br />Fire Department, and Roof Repair at the Library. A motion was made by <br />Councilman Fisher, seconded by Councilman McGee approving the request <br />of the City Manager. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2170 referring to the Builing Hazard Inspection Committee <br />24 parcels for their consideration was presented. A motion was made <br />by Councilman McGee, seconded by Councilman Wilson for adoption of the <br />Resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />`i <br />i <br />
