Resolution 2178 re- appointing Jackie Alsobrook, Mrs. Marvin Gibbs, and Robert Pierson to serve for a term of three years ending June 30, 1985 was presented. RESOLUTION NO, 2178 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did in Resolution No. 1820 establish the Library Advisory Board to consist of seven (7) resident citizens of the City of Paris, and did thereafter in Resolution No. 1978 expand such Board to nine (9) members, with one of the expansion members being appointed for two years, and there- after all appointments to be for three year terms; and, WHEREAS, the terms of office of Jackie Alsobrook, Mrs. Marvin Gibbs, and Robert Pierson will expire on June 30, 1982, and the Mayor of the City of Paris, Joe Graham having re- appointed Jackie Alsobrook, Mrs. Marvin Gibbs, and Robert Pierson, to serve on the Library Advisory Board for a term of three (3) years, beginning July 1, 1982 and ending June 30, 1985, and has submitted the names of such persons to the City Council of the City of Paris; and, WHEREAS, Larry Loven, which term of office expires June 30, 1983, has resigned and the Mayor of the City of Paris, Joe Graham, having appointed Lois Finch to serve the unexpired term of Larry Loven and has submitted the name of such person to the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE, BE,IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the re- appointment of Jackie Alsobrook, Mrs. Marvin Gibbs, and Robert Pierson to serve for a term of three (3) years ending June 30, 1985 and the appointment of Lois Finch to serve the unexpired term of Larry Loven,which ends June 30, 1983, is by the City Council of the,City of Paris hereby approved and confirmed.
