City Manager Sokoll requested authorization of the Council to lease a building for the Engineering Department for the Infiltration /Inflow Sewer Project such building being at 136 Clarksville Street belonging to Mr. Bill Bone. Resolution No. 2141 authorizing the City Manager to enter into a two year lease at $250.00 a month for property known as Lot 7, City Block 15 at 136 Clarksville Street was presented. A motion was made by Counciman McGee, seconded by Council- man Williams for adoption of the Resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. RESOLUTION NO. 2141 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore establish the City Engineer of the City of Paris as project engineer and and manager of Infiltration /Inflow Phase II of Project No. C -48 -1248; and,' WHEREAS, in order to accommodate said project it is necessary that the City Engineer increase his staff and seek additional office space; and, WHEREAS, William J. Bone has offered Lot 7, City Block 15, being No. 136 Clarksville Street, to the City of Paris for two -year term at Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) per month; and, WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Paris that such offer be accepted based upon costs and location; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the City Manager of the City of Paris, Robert W. i Sokoll, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to exe- cute,on behalf of the City Council of the City of Paris,a lease contract with William J. Bone for the rental of No. 136 Clarksville Street, being Lot 7, City Block 15, for a term of two (2) years at a monthly rental of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) per month.
