T <br />Mayor Burnett called for the tabulation of bids for the electrical work for <br />raw water pump installation at Pat Mayse Dam & Reservoir. City Manager Sokoll <br />advised that four contractors had been contacted, but the City was unable to <br />receive any bids, and he further recommended that the City be allowed to employ <br />a firm to do the work. After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Francis, <br />seconded by Councilman Wortham authorizing hiring an Electrican by the City that <br />the City had confidence in and who has worked before for the City. The motion <br />carried 6 ayes, 1 nays, Councilman McGee voting nay. <br />Mayor Burnett called for tabulations of bids for the plumbing work on the raw <br />water pump installation at Pat Mayse Dam & Reservoir. City Manager Sokoll <br />advised that only one bid had been received that being from Heuberger, Inc. in <br />the amount of $8,000.00, and recommended that the bid be accepted. <br />Resolution No. 2148 authorizing the execution of a contract with Neuberger Inc., <br />for the plumbing work on the raw water pump at Pat Mayse Dam & Reservoir was <br />presented. A motion was made by Councilman Graham, seconded by Councilman <br />Williams for adoption of the Resolution, and further moved that the City accept <br />the work prior to final payment to the contractor. The motion carried 5 ayes, <br />2 nays, Councilman McGee, and Councilman Kohls voting nay. <br />
