Councilman Williams entered the council chambers and assumed his chair at the <br />council table. <br />Mr. Hayter advised once the facility plan had been presented to the Environmental <br />Protection Agency that the Agency will establish priorities-of the facility plan <br />and will make an offer of funds based on those priorities; the City may accept <br />or reject the offer. After further discussion, a motion was made by Councilman <br />Burnett, seconded by Councilman Williams to table any action required for the <br />Infiltration /Inflow report. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Francis, seconded by Councilman Fisher to take <br />from the table the item concerning Highway 24 improvements. Motion carried <br />5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mr. Richard Stauter, representing the State Department of Highways and Public <br />Transportation and with the District Engineer Office of Paris, appeared before <br />the Council to discuss the Highway 24 widening. Mr. Stauter discussed the <br />drainage project involving City funds and stated that if the City did not <br />wish to join in a cooperative agreement with the Department of Highways and Public <br />Transportation that no improvements would be done to Highway 24 within the City <br />Limits. <br />After discussion, Resolution No. 1934 authorizing and directing the City <br />flanager to enter into an agreement with the Department of Highway and Public <br />Transportation and agreeing to participate in the Highway widening project <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Council- <br />man Williams for adoption of the Resolution. Motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
