Councilman Burnett made a motion authorizing the preparation of plans and <br />specifications and advertising of bids for the sewer project concerning the <br />widening of Highway 24 South, the motion was seconded by Councilman Fisher, and <br />carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Fisher to <br />remove item one concerning the Infiltration /Inflow report from the table. <br />Motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mr. Robert Hayter again appeared before the Council and advised that possible <br />priorities at the State will establish from the facility plan were: 1. Items <br />that would reduce flow in the present system; 2. Replacing lines too small- <br />and worn out lines. Mr. Hayter estimated that bids could be received in <br />March 1981 and estimated that earliest construction funds would be spent would <br />be the last quarter of 1981. <br />Mayor Malone announced that the City would no"., go into budget workshop with <br />the City staff. Discussion was had on a gravel program included in the <br />Revenue Sharing program. A committee was appointed of Councilman Williams <br />and Councilman Burnett, and Councilman Fisher to make recommendations on the <br />gravel program. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Burnett to adjourn <br />at 12:15 P. N. and reconvene at 1:15 P. M. for the Council work session. Motion <br />carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />The Council reconvened at 1:15 P. M- far the _Council work session. At 2:45 <br />P. M. Mayor F9alone announced that the Council would go into executive session <br />to discuss personnel matters, and the regular session was declared closed. <br />The Council discussed personnel matters. <br />The executive session was declared closed and the regular session open. <br />Mayor Malone announced that no business would be transacted concerning the <br />executive session. <br />There being no.-further business, the meeting adjourned. <br />MICHAEL E.
