J�✓ <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1946 . <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did in <br />- Resolution 'No. 1876 establish the Parks and Recreation Board to <br />consist of nine (9) members, with staggered initial appointments <br />as follows: Three (3) members for one year terms, three (3) <br />members for two year terms and three (3) members for three <br />year terms, and thereafter all appointments to be for three year <br />terms with partially completed terms being filled for the re- <br />mainder of said terms; and, <br />WHEREAS, the terms of office of Jim Steely, Dolores Hayter <br />and David Thomas will expire on June 30, 1979, and the Mayor of <br />the City of Paris, Michael E. Malone, having re- appointed Jim <br />Steely, Dolores Hayter and David Thomas, to serve on the Parks <br />and Recreation Board for a term of three (3) years, beginning <br />July 1, 1979 and ending June 30, 1982, and has submitted the <br />names of such persons to the City Council of the City of Paris; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, That the re- appointments of Jim Steely, Dolores Hayter <br />and David Thomas; as members of the Parks and Recreation Board, <br />for a term of three (3) years, beginning July -1, 1979 and ending <br />June 30, 1982, are by the City Council of the City of Paris hereby <br />approved and confirmed. <br />Passed and adopted this 27th day of June, 1979. <br />Michael E.
