v <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1952 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the-City,of Paris did on <br />the 9th day of July, 1979 establish the Department of Emergency <br />Medical Service to be funded from the GENERAL FUND for the <br />purpose of providing emergency and transfer ambulance service <br />on the first day of September, 1979; arid, <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Emergency Medical Service is <br />without budgeted funds which constitutes an emergency; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Contingent Appropriation balance of <br />$128,553.00 and $86,100.00 budgeted and appropriated under <br />CONSERVATION OF HEALTH both being- GENERAL FUND ACCOUNTS are <br />available to be transferred to .EMERGENCY.MEDICAL SERVICE ACCOUNT; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />That the creation of the EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE DEPARTMENT of <br />the City of.Paris without funding constitutes an emergency and <br />it is so declared; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Director of Finance, <br />H. C. Greene, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to <br />transfer from the CONTINGENT APPROPRIATION ACCOUNT as shown in <br />the fiscal 1979 -80 Budget, the-sum of $128,553.00 and.from the <br />CONSERVATION OF HEALTH ACCOUNT: Contract Ambulance Service, as <br />the same is shown in the fiscal 1979 -80 Budget, the sum of <br />$86,100.00, to be credited to the following account <br />GENERAL FUND <br />EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE: $214,653.00 <br />Passed and adopted this. 23rd day of July,_ 1979. <br />H. .
