,a ..4.r <br />Discussion.was had by Director of Public Works, Ennis Killingsworth and City <br />Attorney, T. K. Haynes on right of way and easement procurement and condemnation <br />proceedures associated with the Northeast and Northwest drainage project now -- <br />under way with the design and specifications now being prepared by Consulting <br />Engineering Firm. <br />Mayor Malone advised that no action would be necessary at this time. <br />Mayor Malone appointed a Council Committee to meet with Lamar County Water <br />Supply District Representives to discuss legal matters composed of Council- <br />man Burnett, Councilman Farris, and Mayor Malone. <br />City Manager Sokoll presented a request.from Freese and Nichols Inc. that the <br />City accept designation as the 208 Facility Management Agency in accordance <br />with the Federal Water Pollution Control Act. <br />Resolution No. 1917 resolving that the City of Paris, a Municipal Corporation, , <br />body politic, does hereby agree to accept appointment As the management agency <br />for waste water related projects within the confines of the city limits of the <br />City of Paris as shown on Exhibit A attached hereby and made a <br />and to carry out its responsibilities in such area; and, that ther City roffParis <br />will cooperate in the planning and management of Segment 202 of the Red River <br />Study area described in Exhibit B attached hereto and made of part.hereof. A <br />motion was made by Councilman Wunsch, seconded by Councilman Farris for adoption <br />of the Resolution. Motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
