Mayor Malone called for a special meeting of the City Council for April 18, <br />1979 7:00 P. H. to review alternates as proposed by Hayter Engineering Firm. <br />Mayor Malone declared the Council in Executive Session in order to discuss <br />contractual matters with the City Attorney. City Attorney Haynes discussed <br />easements for drainage and a bond for contractors on the drainage project. <br />Mayor Malone declared the Executive Session closed and the Regular Session <br />open. <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjoured. <br />MICHAEL E. GREENE, CITY CLERK <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />April 18, 1979 <br />A special meeting of the City Council was held April 18, 1979, 7:00 P.M. <br />[Mayor Malone called the meeting to order with the following Councilman <br />present: Billy Joe Burnett, Raymond S. Wunsch, George Fisher, Walter F. <br />Williams, Jim Farris. Also present were City Manager, Robert td. Sokoil, <br />City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, and City Clerk, H. C. Greene. <br />[Mayor Malone announced that the special Council meeting was called in <br />accordiance with Charter provisions for the purpose of canvassing the <br />election returns of the election held on April 7, 1979. Returns from <br />Wards 4, 5, and 7 was presented to the Mayor and returns were read <br />aloud to the Council and audience. After all returns were canvassed <br />Resolution 1928 was presented declaring the results of the election <br />and the election of Michael E. Malone, Ward 4, W. C. Francis, Ward 5, <br />and Ronald Kyle hard 7 as receiving the highest number of votes. A <br />motion was made by Councilman Wunsch, seconded by Councilman Burnett <br />for adoption of the Resolution. [-lotion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
