Mayor Malone announced that consideration would be given to recommendations of <br />the Traffic Commission. <br />On the recommendation of the Traffic Commission for approval of the First <br />Baptist Church request for a No Parking Zone.and a Loading- Unloading Zahe on <br />west side of 3rd Street, S. E. behind the First Baptist Church. A motion was <br />made by Councilman Fisher, seconded by Councilman Burnett authorizing the <br />preparation of an Ordinance on the request. Motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />On the recommendation of the Traffic Commission that stop signs be placed on <br />the following streets: 10th N. E. from the north; 12th N. E. from the north;, <br />13th N. E. from the south; 14th N. E. from the north; .15th N. E. from the <br />south; 19th N. E. from the north; a motion was. made by Councilman Burnett, <br />seconded by Councilman Wunsch authorizing the preparation of an Ordinance <br />covering the recommendation. Motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />t .. <br />Mayor Malone announced that consideration would-be given-to recommendations <br />by the Building Commmission for changes to Subdivision regulations. Joe <br />McCollum Director of Community Development, and Ennis_ E.illingswor.th, Director <br />of Public Works appeared before the Council discussion the recommended changes. <br />Discussion was had on a proposal -not recommended by the Building Commission— <br />that street base be extended to a point not less than one foot back of curbs. <br />Mr. Killingsworth recommended that the street base be extended to a point not <br />less than one foot back of curb. After discussion, a motion was made by <br />Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Fisher, authorizing the preparation , <br />of an Ordinance encompassing the proposed amendment including street base to <br />be extended to a point not less than one foot back of curb. Motion carried <br />6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />The City Manager presented a request from Jenni Randle for water service out- <br />side the city limits at approximately 3930 Lamar Ave. After discussion, a <br />motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Wunsch approv- <br />ing the request subject to the property meeting subdivision regulations. Motion <br />carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mr. Robert Hayter representing Hayter Engineering Inc., Consulting Engineers <br />for the Paris Infiltration- Inflow Study appeared before the Council and presented <br />Volume I - Inflow Study. Included in Mr. Hayter's report was an estimated <br />project cost to the City of Paris Sanitary Sewer System to reduce wet flows <br />from 58.25 million gallons 'daily to 13.62 million gallons daily, in the amount <br />of $6,830,423.00. <br />Mayor Malone announced that no action was necessary concerning the report from <br />Mr. Hayter. - <br />Resolution No. 1915 authorizing and directing the City-Manager to execute a <br />lease agreement with James M. Wrenn for the main hanger at Cox Field was <br />presented. Motion was made by Councilman Wunsch, seconded by Councilman <br />Williams for adoption of the Resolution. Motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
