BOX 1037 ❑ PARIS, TEXAS 75460 7 (214) 785 -7511 <br />ov <br />October 23, 1986 <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Medical Review Board <br />FROM: Bob Love EMT /Paramedic <br />SUBJECT: Cardiac Arrest Calls <br />The City of Paris EMS has responded to seventy eight full <br />arrest calls since April 1, 1985 until September 1, 1986. <br />Of these seventy eight patients thirteen made it to ICU, <br />four of these patients were released from hospital and <br />went home. .. -. <br />Eleven of the thirteen patients who went to ICJ had CPR in <br />progress when advanced life support ambulance arrived on <br />scene. ALS Ambulance arrived-on scene within four minutes <br />for other two patients. All patients that were transferred <br />to ICU had ALS unit on scene with —in nine minutes. <br />Average on scene time for all seventy eight calls was 22.3 <br />minutes,longest time on scene was 43 minutes (this patient <br />went to ICU). Shortest time on scene was 8 minutes, also <br />went to ICU. <br />There will be a comparison study ready for your review at <br />the next meeting. <br />
