REGULAR MEETING <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, MARCH 10, 2015 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK PM <br />The Airport Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Jack Ashmore, Chairman, at <br />S: 35 p. m. <br />A. The following members were present: Jack Ashmore, Gary Tolleson, Ray Ball and <br />Matt Birch <br />B. The following members were absent: Chris Fitzgerald, Dennis Ashby and Phillip <br />Payne <br />C. Also present was: Shawn Napier, Airport Director; Jerry Richey, Airport Manager; <br />and Ashley Fendley, City Staff. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (January 15, 2015) <br />Motion was made by Ray Ball seconded by Gary Tolleson to approve the minutes from <br />January 15, 2015 meetings. Motion carried 4 -0. <br />3. Discussion regarding the 2015 Fly -In at the Cox Field Airport. <br />Jack Ashmore stated he has put together a letter to submit to the City Council for funding. <br />The Airport Advisory Board reviewed the letter and decided that the best time to try to <br />schedule the fly -in would be September 19th or September 26''. The Airport Advisory <br />Board requested that the city staff look into other events scheduled for the dates proposed. <br />4. Report from Shawn Napier, Airport Director. <br />Shawn Napier stated the plans for some of this money from the land sale to Agpro would <br />be to crack seal the runways and to fix drainage issues with the new hangar location. The <br />Airport Advisory Board discussed the new hangars that will be built through TxDOT <br />Aviation. <br />S. Discussion regarding Hangar Lease. <br />Shawn Napier stated he is working with Kent McIlyar, City Attorney on the hangar lease, <br />an aircraft related business lease and an industrial /commercial building lease policy. Mr. <br />Napier further stated he would like to schedule a time with Chris Fitzgerald to review the <br />
