PEDC Board Meeting Minutes <br />April 21, 2015 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />Discuss and possibly take action on proposed website chances by James Wallace of Jazzy Frog <br />Interactive <br />The Board had viewed the changes that had been made to the new website and agreed that the information <br />needs to be updated. Shannon Barrentine stated that the information was copied and pasted from the old <br />website and James Wallace of Jazzy Frog made some of the corrections that were recently brought up. <br />The PEDC Board agreed that the website needed a lot of work and it will take some time. No action was <br />taken on this item. <br />Discuss and possibly take action on invoice(s) for legal services from Jeff Moore, Attorney, Brown <br />& Hofineister, LLP and/or A.W. Clem, Legal Counsel, The Moore Law Firm. <br />Shannon Barrentine stated that she had contacted The Moore Law Firm to get an invoice for legal <br />services to date and has yet to receive one. The invoice for Jeff Moore totaled $2,638.89. Shannon <br />Barrentine stated that a majority of the fee was due to the Public Information Request from Ricky Hayes. <br />David Turner made a motion to pay Jeff Moore, Attorney, Brown & Hofineister, LLP $2,638.89; <br />seconded by Don Wilson. Motion Carried 4 -0. <br />The Board convened into Executive Session at 4:10 p.m. Pursuant to Section 551.072 and Section <br />551.087 of the Texas Government Code to discuss and deliberate on the following: <br />1. Pursuant to Section 551.072 — Real Property <br />2. Pursuant to Section 551.087 — Economic Development Negotiations <br />David Turner left Executive Session discussion at 4:55 p.m. <br />Executive Session ended at 5:38 p.m. The Board reconvened into open session. As a result of <br />executive session discussion the Board took the following action: <br />Don Wilson made a motion to forward the draft of the Incentive Agreement with T &K for their legal <br />counsel to review before the Board executes it; seconded by John Brockman. Motion Carried 3 -0. <br />Don Wilson made a motion to give permission to the Interim Executive Director, Shannon Barrentine, to <br />respond to Project C &W to offer the 43± acres in the NW quadrant of the NW Industrial Park at a <br />reduced cost of $5,000 per acre with the stipulation that construction begin within 12 months of land <br />purchase; seconded by John Brockman. Motion Carried 3 -0. <br />Rebecca Clifford made a motion to adjourn at 5:39 p.m.; seconded by Don Wilson.
