Meeting Minutes of the Main Street Advisory Board <br />107 Kaufman St <br />Paris Texas <br />City Council Chambers <br />Tuesday, March 10, 2015 <br />Present: <br />Jill Drake <br />Glee Emmite <br />Karie Raulston <br />Missy Starnes <br />Cheri Bedford, Main Street <br />Manager <br />Becky Semple, <br />Chamber Liaison <br />Benny Plata, City Council <br />Absent: <br />Beatrice Ardila <br />Jerry Coyle <br />Nancy Waldrum <br />1. Call meeting to order Jill Drake 4:22 pm <br />2. Role taken. Quorum established. <br />3. Citizens Forum: none noted. <br />4. Approval of minutes of February 17, 2015 Motion was made Missy Starnes seconded by <br />Kari Raulston motion carried. <br />5. Coordinator report: Cheri Bedford: <br />a. Presentation of Main Street Report for 2014 given last night to Paris City Council went <br />very well. <br />b. Sidewalk Project - -about completed. City will install irrigation and then trees will be <br />planted in planters. They are waiting for dry weather. <br />c. Wine Fest Tickets are on sale - -of 350 only 125 left. Good response to on line sales. <br />d. Preservation Month- May plans are under way. <br />e. Farmers Market -- four local farmers went to Dallas Farmers Market to sign up for the <br />SNAP program. Three made commitments to the program they received Ipads, readers, <br />and printers, plus a low credit card rate. They will be bringing their product to the Market <br />when it opens in May. Plans are to change the Market to have produced plus artisan items. <br />f. Wine Fest - Tickets are on sale on line -about 125 left. <br />g. Centennial Meeting March 3- account 30 people met with many suggestions for fund <br />raising ideas. Next lunch meeting is April 16th at noon. <br />
