KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, APRIL 16, 2015 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK PM <br />The Airport Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Jack Ashmore, Chairman, at <br />5: 34 p. m. <br />A. The following members were present: Jack Ashmore, Ray Ball, Dennis Ashby and <br />Chris Fitzgerald <br />B. The following members were absent: Matt Birch, Gary Tolleson and Phillip Payne <br />C. Also present was: Shawn Napier, Airport Director; Jerry Richey, Airport Manager; <br />and Ashley Fendley, City Staff. <br />Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (March 10, 201 S) <br />Motion was made by Ray Ball seconded by Dennis Ashby to approve the minutes from <br />March 10, 2015 meetings. Motion carried 4 -0. <br />Discussion regarding the 2015 Fly -In at the Cox Field Airport. <br />Shawn Napier stated that the Agpro sale has been finalized. Mr. Napier further stated that <br />hopefully money for the Fly -In can be raised through fundraisers and donations but we do <br />have some of the Agpro sale money if needed. Ray Ball stated he would like to see a B -29 <br />come in and let them take the gate money to offset the cost. Dennis Ashby stated he has a <br />fried with a B -17 who might be interested in coming. Jack Ashmore stated wanted to look <br />into the B -29 idea and find out how much they will charge to come to the Fly -In. <br />Report from Shawn Napier, Airport Director. <br />Shawn Napier stated the plans for some of the money from the Agpro sale would be used <br />to crack seal the runways and to fix drainage issues with the new hangar location. The <br />Airport Advisory Board discussed the new hangars that will be built through TxDOT <br />Aviation and that the Paris Junior College Police Academy will be using one of runways <br />for training exercises. <br />5. Discussion regarding delinquent hangar rental fees. <br />Shawn Napier made the Airport Advisory Board aware of the delinquent hangar rental <br />
