Their <br />program is managed through a contractor service, Allied Waste, <br />Inc. The contractor provides the containers for the recyclables <br />as well as pickup and disposal however the city does not get any <br />remuneration from the sale of the recycled materials. This does <br />tell us that recycling can be profitable. <br />
