MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />MONDAY, JUNE 1, 2015 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, June 1, 2015, was called <br />to order at 5:31 p.m. by Holland Harper, Chairman. <br />A. The following members were present: Jerry Akers, John Lee, Holland Harper, <br />James Price, Barney Bray and Billy Trenado <br />B. The following members were absent: Mike Folmar <br />C. Also present were Shawn Napier, Director of Engineering; and Ashley Fendley, <br />Secretary for the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (May 4, 2015) <br />Motion was made by James Price, seconded by John Lee to approve minutes for the May 4, <br />2015 meeting. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />3. Consideration of and action on the Preliminary Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Malone Village CB <br />325, located in the 2900 Block of Campbell Street. <br />Shawn Napier reviewed the preliminary plat with commissioners. Motion was made by <br />James Price, seconded by Jerry Akers to approve the preliminary plat, subject to the City <br />Engineer's recommendations. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />4. Consideration of and action on the Final Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Malone Village CB 325, <br />located in the 2900 Block of Campbell Street. <br />Shawn Napier reviewed the final plat with commissioners. Motion was made by Jerry <br />Akers, seconded by Billy Trenado to approve the final plat, subject to the City Engineer's <br />recommendations. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />5. Public hearing and consideration of and action on a change in zoning from a Commercial <br />District (C) to a General Retail (GR) on the following: <br />a. Lot 2 -F of City Block 313, being located at 3680 Lamar Avenue (CVS) <br />b. Lot 1, Block A of Petco Plaza 313, located at 3920 Lamar Avenue ( Petco Plaza <br />shopping center) <br />
