The City of Paris, Texas, Police Department is respectfully requesting <br />$6,048.00 of the total funds allocated to the disparate jurisdictions. <br />Budget: <br />Year 1: 1. 1 Search and Rescue Drone $6000.00 <br />TOTAL REQUEST $6,000.00 <br />Narrative: The proposed expenditure will allow the City of Paris Police Department to acquire a <br />search and rescue drone. This device will be used for photography of crime scenes, searching for <br />missing people or eluding suspects. <br />LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS, SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />BUDGET NARRATIVE <br />Amount Requested. The Lamar County, Texas, Sheriff s Office is respectfully requesting <br />$6,441.50 of the total funds allocated to the disparate jurisdictions. <br />Budget: <br />Year 1 1. 4RE Digital in car video car system $4920.00 <br />2. Dyna Med Hand Held Pulse Oximeter $774.00 <br />3. Suicide Prevention Smocks $716.00 <br />Total $6410.95 <br />TOTAL REQUEST $6,118.50 <br />Narrative: The proposed expenditure will allow the Lamar County Sheriff s office to provide <br />equipment for sheriff's deputies. The digital in car system will be mounted in a patrol unit for <br />day and night patrols. This system will be used to record events happening during traffic stops, <br />crime scenes, interviewing of witnesses and suspects. This system will also aid the department <br />in complying with the requirements of the state's racial profiling reporting requirements. The <br />oximeter and suicide prevention smocks will be used in the county jail. The smocks will be used <br />to prevent inmates from harming themselves or others. The oximeter will be used by the jail <br />nurse for medical care of the inmates. <br />
