Director of Engineering, Planning & Development SUBJECT: SKY PARK ADDITION CB 249 FINAL PLAT DATE: August 4, 2015 BACKGROUND: Mr. Skyler Burchinal had planned to purchase lot 7 and part of lots 8 and 9 of City Block 249 located in the 2500 block of Lamar Avenue. After Mr. Burchinal submitted his zoning change request and plats it was discovered that ATMOS had an easement on the property that would limit what Mr. Burchinal could build. The Planning & Zoning Commission denied the final plat by a vote of 7 -0 on August 3, 2015. STATUS OF ISSUE: Mr. Burchinal is listed as the owner of the property. Mr. Burchinal has not purchased the property at this time. The City of Paris does not have a request from the current property owner to plat the property or consent from the current property owner to plat the property. Therefore the final plat does not comply with the City of Paris subdivision regulations. BUDGET: N/A RECOMMENDATION: Deny the final plat.
