Call meeting to order — Richard Manning Chair <br />2. Citizens' Input <br />(Persons desiring to address the Paris EDC Board must limit their presentation to no more than two <br />minutes. Unless an item is posted on the Agenda, the Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the Board <br />from responding to any comments other than to refer the matter to a future agenda, to an existing policy, <br />or to a staff person with specific factual information. Claims against the Paris EDC, Board Members or <br />employees are not appropriate for citizens' input.) <br />3. Discuss and possibly approve Minutes of August 11, 2015 Meeting. <br />4. Discuss and possibly approve July 2015 Financials. <br />5. Discuss and possibly take action on 2015 -2016 Budget. <br />6. Discuss and possibly take action on Northeast Texas Work Force Development Grant Funding. <br />7. Convene into Executive Session: <br />(a) Pursuant to Section 551.072 of the Texas Government Code to discuss and deliberate the purchase, <br />exchange, lease, or value of real property. <br />(b) Pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code: 1) to deliberate the appointment, <br />employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee: or <br />2) to hear a complaint to charge against an officer or employee. Deliberate Applicants to fill Executive <br />Director position. <br />(c) Pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code to discuss or deliberate: 1) Commercial or <br />Financial information that the governmental body has received from a business prospect that the <br />governmental body seeks to have locate, stay or expand in or near the territory of the governmental body <br />and with which the governmental body is conducting economic development negotiations, or 2) to <br />deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to a business prospect. <br />8.
