Janice Ellis told Council she had spoken to Ms. Daniels and was informed her primary <br />residence was located in the City of Paris. <br />A Motion to approve this item was made by Council Member Fendley and seconded <br />by Council Member Ray. Motion carried, 7 ayes - 0 nays. <br />There were no other items pulled from the Consent Agenda. <br />Upon a motion made by Council Member Fisher and a second by Council Member Ray, <br />the Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to approve and adopt the Consent <br />Agenda, Items 4, 5, 5A, 6, and 6B as follows: <br />4. Approval of minutes from previous City Council meetings. (6- 26 -06; 6 -26 -06 Budget <br />Work Session. <br />5. Receipt of reports and/or minutes from committees, boards, and commissions: <br />A. Historic Preservation Commission. (5/22/06; 6/5/06; 6/26/06) <br />6. Consideration of and action on the following resolutions: <br />B. RESOLUTION NO. 2006-094: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO <br />THE AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD TO SERVE THE UNEXPIRED <br />TERM OF DON MORRELL, WHICH EXPIRES DECEMBER 31, 2008; <br />MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE <br />SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />7. Consideration of and action on the following resolutions: <br />A. RESOLUTION NO. 2006-095: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE CERTIFICATE OF SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION, <br />FINAL PAYMENT, AND CLOSE OUT OF THE CONSTRUCTION <br />CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND RECONSTRUCTION <br />AND CONVERSION OF THAT STRUCTURE FORMERLY REFERRED <br />TO AS THE UARCO BUILDING TO A NEW POLICE, COURT, AND JAIL <br />FACILITY; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED <br />
