0 Q () 3 (' 4 REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF PARIS <br />April 23, 2007 <br />The City Council of the City of Paris met for a regular session at 6:00 P. M. Monday, April <br />23, 2007, at the City Council Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman, Paris, Texas. <br />Present: Mayor: <br />Richard Manning <br />Council Members: Curtis Fendley; Mary Ann Fisher, Mayor Pro <br />Tem; Kevin Gray; Jesse James Freelen; and <br />Don Wilson <br />City Staff- Ernie Clark, Interim City Manager; Kent <br />McIlyar, City Attorney; and Janice Ellis, City <br />Clerk <br />Absent: Council Member: Tim Ray <br />1. Mayor Manning called the meeting to order. <br />Ernie Clark gave the invocation. <br />2. Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Curtis Fendley led the pledge. <br />3. Approval of minutes from previous City Council meetings. (4/12/07) <br />Council Member Freelen made a Motion to approve the minutes and Council Member Fisher <br />seconded the Motion. Motion carried, 6 ayes - 0 nays. <br />4. Consideration of and action on the following ordinances: <br />A. ORDINANCE NO. 2007 -007: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AMENDING ARTICLE III CURFEW <br />REGULATIONS FOR CHILDREN OF CHAPTER 21 OF THE CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, REVISING CERTAIN LAW <br />ENFORCEMENT PROCEDURES APPLICABLE TO THE CURFEW <br />ORDINANCE AND MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS <br />RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; PROVIDING A REPEALER CLAUSE, <br />SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, AND SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Council Member Wilson inquired if anyone had spoken with the home school representative <br />to determine if the association was agreeable with this change. Mayor Manning said he had not. <br />
