Letter of Agreement — 2004 Paris — Page 3 10. Current member of the National Main Street Network. Participation in the National Main Street Network connects local programs to their counterparts throughout the nation, providing them with valuable information resources. Membership in the National Main Street Network is compulsory in order to receive national recognition through the National Main Center. These Ten Criteria are mandatory for eligibility as a Texas Main Street city. The City of Paris's Main Street Manager will attend at least two of the training opportunities. The City of Paris is accepting Official Graduate Main Street City status with the understanding and agreement that they will apply the Main Street approach in their downtown revitalization program for the period, January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2004. The appropriate stipend is due by January 31, 2004. Councilman Bell asked if there was any budgetary impact that came with this Change Order. Finance Director Anderson indicated there was a zero budget impact.. Councilman Bell made a motion to approve the resolution. Mayor Pro Tern McCarthy seconded the motion, which carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
