Hanson, P.E., provided input and <br />materials for the November 9, 2001, Texas Section American Water Works <br />Association teleconference Defending Your Utility in a National Crisis. She has <br />also presented papers - Show Me the Money - Is Funding Available for Security <br />System Improvements on security system funding issues - at the Water <br />Environment Association of Texas Workshop Water and Wastewater Security <br />Specialty Conference and - Streamlining Vulnerability Assessments for Small and <br />Medium -size Utilities - at Texas Water 2003. <br />Four members of FNI staff have successfully completed training in Risk Assessment <br />Methodology for Water Utilities and are RAM -W certified. Sandia National <br />Laboratories and AWWA Research Foundation developed the training. The <br />certified staff members are Tina E. Hanson, P.E., Hisham Musallam, P.E., Reed <br />Meriwether, P.E., and Samuel Higgins, Engineer. <br />Ms. Hanson's training includes the following classes and seminars: <br />• Completed training July 2002 for Risk Assessment Methodology for Water <br />Utilities developed by Sandia National Laboratory and published by American <br />Water Works Association Research Foundation <br />• Attended the webcast Wastewater Security Training: Reducing Vulnerability to <br />Both Intentional Threats and Natural Disasters, which was held on November <br />20, 2002, and included VAST"' <br />• Attended the American Water Works Association Research Foundation <br />teleconference Security Risk Assessment for Water Utilities held November <br />2 7, 2001 <br />• Attended the November 9, 2001, Texas Section American Water Works <br />Association teleconference Defending Your Utility in a National Crisis <br />Mr. Musalla.m and Mr. Higgins completed training on July 10, 2002, in Austin. <br />The course was licensed from AWWA Research Foundation and Sandia National <br />Laboratories.
