jo3 RESOLUTION NO. 2004 -004 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A PURCHASE ORDER FOR ONE (1) AMBULANCE THROUGH. THE TEXAS LOCAL GOVERNMENT PURCHASING COOPERATIVE; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 10th day of February, 2003, in Resolution No. 2003 -047, elect to be a Cooperative Member in the Texas Local Government Purchasing Cooperative, a program created by local governments in accordance with and pursuant to the Interlocal Cooperation Act ( "Act "), Chapter 791, Texas Government Code; and, WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that the City of Paris purchase an ambulance replaccmen_r for Medic-6-through said -Texas LocaLGevernment-Purehasing Cooperative; and; WHEREAS, it is further deemed appropriate that the City Manager be authorized to execute a purchase order for one (1) 2004 Ford F350 Type 1 Ambulance for a total purchase price _ of $86,890.00, which represents the cost of the ambulance, which is $95,790.00, plus the cost of the Texas Local Government Purchasing Cooperative fee, which is $800.00, less the value of the City's trade -in, which is $9,700.00; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, a purchase order for one (1) 2004 Ford F350 Type 1 Ambulance for a total purchase price of $86,890.00, which represents the cost of the ambulance, which is $95,790.00!, plus the- cost -of the Texas-Local Government Purchasing- Cooperat vefee, whic li s $800.00, less the value of the City's trade -in, which is $9,700.00. Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of January, 2004.._., Curtis Fendley, Mayor`.
