414 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001 -013 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE HOUSING BOARD <br />FOR THE OWNER - OCCUPIED HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM; <br />MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE <br />SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris has over a period of several years been receiving grants under <br />the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, Texas Home Investment Partnership <br />Program, Owner - Occupied Housing Assistance Program; and, <br />WHEREAS, one of the requirements of the said grant is the establishment of a Housing <br />Board; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on June 9, 1997, in <br />Resolution No. 97 -059, establish the Housing Board for the Owner - Occupied Housing Assistance <br />Program; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary that board appointments be made to the Housing Board for the <br />Owner - Occupied Housing Assistance Program for the current grant program, being HOME No. <br />530395, and the appointments of Maria Pope, Rick Hundley, William Heuberger, Effie Grandberry, <br />and Crista Cherry should, in all things, be approved; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br />Section 2. That the appointments of Maria Pope, Rick Hundley, William Heuberger, Effie <br />Grandberry, and Crista Cherry to the Housing Board for the Owner - Occupied Housing Assistance <br />Program be, and the same are hereby, approved. <br />Section 3.
