• <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 7, 2000 <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission met Monday, February 7, 2000 at 5:30 in the City Hall - <br />Council Room, Paris, Texas with the following members present: <br />1. Reeves Hayter <br />2. Bobby L. Myers <br />3. Cesar Horta <br />4. Joe McCarthy <br />5. Curtis Fendley <br />6. Louis Yates, Jr. <br />7. Michael Dangerfield <br />Earl Smith, the City Engineer was also present. <br />The meeting was called to order by Reeves Hayter. <br />1. The minutes from the January 3, 2000 regular planning and zoning meeting were approved <br />with a motion by Curtis Fendley seconded by Joe McCarthy. Motion carried by a vote of 7 <br />ayes and 0 nays. <br />2. Public Hearing to consider the petition of L. P. Patterson for a change in zoning from <br />a One - Family Dwelling District No. 1(SF -1) to a Two - Family Dwelling District (2F), <br />Lot 14, Block 1, Stellrose Addition, being number 605 SE 22°d Street. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Mr. Pete Patterson, Rt. 1, Box 184, Brookston, spoke in favor of the petition, he has bought <br />the property, demolished the burned house and wants to build a duplex. He will restore two <br />car garage. The housing unit will blend with other existing housing. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />3. Consideration of L. P. Patterson for a change in zoning from a One - Family Dwelling <br />District No. 1(SF -1) to a Two - Family Dwelling District (2F), Lot 14, Block 1, Stellrose <br />Addition, being number 605 SE 22" Street. <br />Motion was made to approve by Joe McCarthy and seconded by Bobby Myers.
