3/2 <br />Debbie North spoke in favor of the petition requesting zoning change from a <br />single family to a general retail district. <br />Bobby Myers asked about parking. Ms. North stated she would build 5 spaces of <br />dust free parking. <br />Bill Cupit , 124 S.E. 20th, stated that he had no opposition to petition. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />5. Consideration of and action on the petition of Debbie North for a change in <br />zoning from a One - Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a General Retail <br />District (GR), Lot 7, City Block 224, being number 101 S.E. 20th. <br />Motion was made to approve by Bill Coleman and seconded by Marshall Kent. <br />Motion carried by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />6. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Charlotte Murray for a change in <br />zoning from a One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) to a One - Family <br />Dwelling District No. 3 With Specific Use Permit (39) Mobile Home, Lots 1 & <br />2, Block 1, Colonial Addition, being number 1760 W. Walker. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Charlotte Murray spoke in favor of the petition stating that she would like to put a <br />mobile home on this property. <br />Bobby Myers asked if there were other mobile homes in the area. Steve Methven <br />stated that there are several mobile homes in the area. <br />Calvin Gibson who owns property in the area stated that he had no opposition to <br />the petition. <br />Jim Lester who lives in the area also stated that he does not oppose the petition. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />7.
