TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AIRPORT PROJECT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT (State Assisted Airport Development) Amendment No. 01 to the Agreement TxDOT Contract No.: 6XYFA032 TxDOT Project No.: AP PARIS 4 TxDOT CSJ No.: 9601PARIS WHEREAS, the CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, hereinafter referred to as the "Sponsor ", and the TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, hereinafter referred to as the "State," have entered into an Airport Project Participation Agreement TxDOT CSJ Number 9601PARIS, executed by the Sponsor on September 19, 1995 and by the State on October 12, 1995, for the development of Cox Field Airport; and WHEREAS, the project is described as follows: reconstruct and overlay hangar access taxiway, install segmented circle; construct drainage improvements; construct terminal building; install erosion/sedimentation controls; and associated appurtenances at Cox Field ; and WHEREAS, it is in the mutual interest of the Sponsor and the State to amend said Airport Project Participation Agreement at this time to increase the total estimated project costs based on the receipt of construction bids and increase the amount of State financial assistance; and WHEREAS, Part II - Offer of Financial Assistance, estimates total project costs to be $630,000.00; and WHEREAS, financial assistance is currently limited to $200,000.00 in state funds and $200,000.00 in local sponsor funds for the construction of the terminal building and $207,000.00 in state funds and $23,000.00 in local sponsor funds for project items as described above other than the construction of the terminal building; NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the parties' mutual promises, the following amendment to the Airport Project Participation Agreement shall become effective upon execution of this Amendment by the Sponsor and the State.
