'i <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97 -013 <br />WHEREAS, the Texas Municipal League will be conducting the 12th Annual Civil Service <br />Workshop in Dallas on March 6 and 7, 1997, which interferes with the regularly scheduled City <br />Council meeting on Thursday, March 6, 1997; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that the regular Thursday meeting of the City <br />Council scheduled for March 6, 1997, be consolidated with the regular Monday meeting of the <br />City Council scheduled for March 10, 1997; -NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the <br />regular Thursday meeting of the City Council scheduled for March 6, 1997, be, and the same is <br />hereby, rescheduled for Monday, March 10, 1997, at 6:00 o'clock P.M.; and <br />. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be placed on the City Hall <br />Bulletin Board giving notice of the rescheduling of the regular Thursday March Council meeting, <br />and that the news media be informed of the rescheduled date in the same manner they are informed <br />of emergency City Council meetings. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of February, 1997 <br />Eric S. K. aynes, ity Attorney <br />Resolution No. 97 -014, authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City <br />of Paris, Eric S. Clifford to execute on behalf of the City of Paris <br />the Agreement for Arbitrage Rebate Compliance Service with First <br />Southwest Asset Management, Inc. to determine to what extent, if any, <br />it will be required to rebate investment earnings of the proceeds of <br />the bonds to the United States of America, was presented. A motion was <br />made by Councilman Hunt, seconded by Councilman Fulbright for approval <br />of the resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
