843 <br />City Council Meeting <br />March 10, 1997 <br />7, BLOCK 1, SCOTT BRADEN ADDITION, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DOROTHY <br />ALLEN, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A <br />ONE FAMILY DWELLING (SF -2); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br />COMNIERCIAL DISTRICT (C); SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT <br />TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES <br />IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF APRIL <br />1, 1997 <br />was presented A motion was made by Councilman Neeley, seconded by Councilwoman Elder <br />for adoption of the ordinance. The motion carried 5 ayes, o nays. <br />Resolution No. 97 -021, resolving that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S. Clifford, be, and <br />he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute a special warranty deed conveying, in <br />accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, and City's interest in said closing the alley <br />running East and West between Booth and Tudor Streets, beginning at the West boundary line <br />of 19th Street, N. E., West to the East boundary line of 17' Street N. E., to the adjacent owners <br />on either side of said alley, and further resolving that the City of Paris retain drainage and <br />utility easements in the area to be described in the special warranty deeds, was presented. A <br />motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Fulbright, seconded by Councilwoman Elder for approval <br />of the resolution. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
