V M RESOLUTION NO. 97 -028 WHEREAS, the 15th Annual Texas Airport Operators Conference is scheduled for April 9, 10, and 11, 1997, which conflicts with the regularly scheduled City Council meeting on Thursday, April 10, 1997; and, WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that the regular Thursday meeting of the City Council scheduled for April 10, 1997, be consolidated with the regular Monday meeting of the City Council scheduled for April 14, 1997; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the regular Thursday meeting of the City Council scheduled for April 10, 1997, be, and the same is hereby, rescheduled for Monday, April 14, 1997, at 6:00 o'clock p.m.; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be placed on the City Hall Bulletin Board giving notice of the rescheduling of the regular Thursday April Council meeting, and that the news media be informed of the rescheduled date in the same manner they are informed of emergency City Council meetings. Clifford to execute on behalf of the City. of Paris a general warrant deed to Ronnie Grooms for the purchase of 6.981 acres of property near Lake Gibbons which is triangular in shape and has a wooded ditch in the center of the same, was presented. A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Fulbright for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays.
