Police Chief, Karl Louis, came forward telling the Council that in <br />reviewing the bids for the three police vehicles, he wanted to bring to <br />the Council's attention on the deviations and why the information that <br />he received from the City Attorney that Lowry Chevrolet also had a <br />deviation on it, so the Council may want to amend the car bid and award <br />the two full size, and we may want to rebid the mid -size vehicle, and <br />advised that the regular size vehicles met the specifications. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Fulbright, seconded by Councilman Boyd <br />to reconsider the bids for the police vehicles. The motion carried 6 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Bell to rebid the mid -size vehicle. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Fulbright, and carried 6 ayes, 0 <br />nays. <br />Resolution No. 96 -006, resolving that the form of the First Amended <br />Statewide Transportation Enhancement Program Agreement between the <br />State of Texas acting by and through the Texas Department of <br />Transportation and the City of Paris, was presented by City Attorney <br />Haynes. A motion was made by Councilman Bell, seconded by Councilman <br />Hunt for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
