^ sas <br />WMREZS, the City of Bonham City Council deems it to be in the best <br />interest of the citizens of the City of Bonham to seek such assistance which will <br />focus on drug law enforcement; and <br />WHERMS, if such application for grant assistance is approved, the project <br />is to be funded by 75% federal funds and 25% local matching funds pro -rated among <br />participants, with those matching funds due from the City of Bonham in an amount <br />not to exceed $ at the end of the fiscal year, to -wit: May 31, <br />1995; and <br />WMAIEWS, the City of Bonham and other approving law enforcement agencies <br />have indicated their desire to participate in and be a part of a cooperative <br />investigative effort designated as Regional Controlled Substance Apprehension <br />Program; <br />THAT an application be made to the Office of the Governor, Criminal <br />Justice Division, for a Texas Narcotics Control Program, 1994 Grant, and if such <br />application for grant assistance is approved, the project is to be funded by 75% <br />federal funds and 25% local funds with the matching funds to be pro -rated among <br />participants with those matching funds due frcm the City of Bonham in an amount <br />not to exceed $ o94', noy. a-o at the end of the fiscal year, to -wit: May 31, <br />1995. <br />II. <br />TEAT Jim Stiff, City Manager, be,' and he is hereby authorized and directed <br />to execute an Agreement on behalf of the City of Bonham, Texas, as a member <br />participant in the Regional Controlled Substance Apprehension Program, and such <br />other documents necessary for the implementation and coapletion of said project. <br />THAT this Resolution and Agreement will be subject to review on the <br />anniversary date of June 1 of each year at which time the City will remain a <br />member of the Regional Controlled Substance Apprehension program or may withdraw <br />by Resolution. <br />
