Strategic planning allows area people and organizations to have a voice <br />in the planning process, which allows for ownership of the results. Total <br />area participation is the only way to ensure success of strategic planning. <br />Strategic planning works best when there is a balance between dealing <br />with the present and preparing for the future. <br />Concerned citizens must work together toward the simultaneous planning <br />and implementation of current and future goals. <br />This project will result in recommendations of strategies to further diversify the <br />economic base of Paris.
