RESOLUTION NO. 94 -018 <br />WHEREAS, the several departments of the City of Paris have furnished <br />the list of personal property, attached 'as Exhibit A to the sales contract attached <br />hereto as Exhibit A, which no longer serves a useful purpose for the City of Paris <br />and its operation, and it would be appropriate that said personal property be <br />declared surplus property; and, <br />WHEREAS, it would be appropriate to dispose of said surplus property <br />by auction duly advertised and conducted by Monte Moore, Auctioneers, Texas <br />Auctioneer License TXS -9579, which firm has heretofore been approved for use <br />by State of Texas agencies, upon the terms and conditions included in the sales <br />contract attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, that the personal property described in Exhibit A to the sales contract <br />attached hereto as Exhibit A be, and the same is hereby, declared to be surplus <br />property of the City of Paris and the same may be disposed of in accordance with <br />the laws of the State of Texas and the Charter of the City of Paris. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of Paris, <br />George Fisher, be, and lie is hereby, authorized and directed on behalf of the <br />City of Paris to execute the professional service contract providing for <br />auctioneering services with Monte Moore, Auctioneers, attached hereto as Exhibit <br />A. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED on this 10th day of March, 1994. <br />Gedrge risher, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Mattie Cunningham, City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS FORM: <br />T.
