i <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />January 7, 1993 <br />The City Council of the City of Paris met in regular session, Thursday, <br />January 7, 1993, 6:00 P. M., City Council Chambers, City Hall, Paris, <br />Texas. Mayor George Fisher called the meeting to order with the <br />following Councilmembers present: Don Shelton, Jim Bell, Millie <br />Ingram, Wayne Brown, absent was Rondie Williams, and Billy Joe <br />Burnett. Also present was City Manager, Michael E. Malone, City <br />Attorney, T. K. Haynes, and City Clerk, Mattie Cunningham. <br />Joe McCollum, Director of Community Development, was present and <br />presented the minutes of the Planning and Zoning Commission's meeting <br />held January 4, 1993, and attached hereto as part of these minutes as <br />Exhibit A. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Shelton, seconded by Councilwoman <br />Ingram to bring Agenda Item No. 17A, consideration of and action on a <br />resolution consenting to capital improvements at St. Joseph Hospital <br />and Health Center and the issuance of Bonds. The motion carried 5 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Attorney Haynes advised this was a refinancing being done by the <br />Hospital, and does not effect the City of Paris's ability to have <br />bonded indebtedness in anyway, and on behalf of the staff, there is no <br />objection to this matter. <br />Resolution No. 93 -001, consenting to Capital Improvements at St. <br />Joseph's Hospital and Health Center and the issuance of bonds by the <br />Bexar County Health Facilities Development Corporation to refinance <br />such improvements, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman <br />Bell, seconded by Councilman Shelton for approval of the resolution. <br />The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />t <br />
