i MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL January 7, 1993 The City Council of the City of Paris met in regular session, Thursday, January 7, 1993, 6:00 P. M., City Council Chambers, City Hall, Paris, Texas. Mayor George Fisher called the meeting to order with the following Councilmembers present: Don Shelton, Jim Bell, Millie Ingram, Wayne Brown, absent was Rondie Williams, and Billy Joe Burnett. Also present was City Manager, Michael E. Malone, City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, and City Clerk, Mattie Cunningham. Joe McCollum, Director of Community Development, was present and presented the minutes of the Planning and Zoning Commission's meeting held January 4, 1993, and attached hereto as part of these minutes as Exhibit A. A motion was made by Councilman Shelton, seconded by Councilwoman Ingram to bring Agenda Item No. 17A, consideration of and action on a resolution consenting to capital improvements at St. Joseph Hospital and Health Center and the issuance of Bonds. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. City Attorney Haynes advised this was a refinancing being done by the Hospital, and does not effect the City of Paris's ability to have bonded indebtedness in anyway, and on behalf of the staff, there is no objection to this matter. Resolution No. 93 -001, consenting to Capital Improvements at St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center and the issuance of bonds by the Bexar County Health Facilities Development Corporation to refinance such improvements, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Bell, seconded by Councilman Shelton for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. t
