SPECIFICATIONS AND QUOTATIONS <br />FOR <br />VEHICLE SERVICE: <br />RECEIVED <br />JAN 2 6 1993 <br />CITY .IJA �LiG1E% <br />The City of. Paris will receive sealed bids for the services listed <br />on the bid tabulation sheets. The cost will include service:, labor <br />and supplies to complete the requested service(s). Our fleet <br />include3 I.H. Corporation, General Motors Corporation, Ford Motor <br />Company, Chrysler Corporation vehicles. These service quotes shall <br />be valid for a period of twelve (12) months from date bid(s) <br />awarded. <br />Oil shall meet -factory recommendations for service classifications <br />and viscosity or A.P.I. specifications (IOW 30, 15W 40 S.G., <br />C.E - ) . Oil for Class IV vehicles (ambulances /rescue units) shall <br />be Shell- Rotella 15 -W 40. <br />Automatic transmission fluid shall be Dextron II or meet factory <br />recommendations. <br />Heavy duty gear box oil SAE 90W, GL5 preferred. <br />Multi- purpose chassis lubricant WLG 42 grade. <br />All oil and grease shall meet- or exceed vehicle manufacturer's <br />recommendation. <br />Police vehicles shall be serviced at 3000 -mile intervals. <br />Ambulances and rescue 'units shall be serviced at 150 hours or <br />3,000 -mile intervals and additional city vehicle will be serviced <br />at 4000 -mile intervals. Any needed repairs shall be noted on the <br />invoice.
