CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />SPECIFICATIONS AND CONDITIONS <br />RLDIO C01d11UNICATIONS EQUIPMENT <br />INTENT OF SPECIFICATIONS <br />It is the intent of these specifications to set forth the minimum <br />requirements for the purchase, performance and installation of <br />radio,commmunications equipment for the City of Paris, Texas. <br />The componentspecifications are minimum specifications and are <br />intended to ensure reliable, high quality, available, readily <br />repairable equipment with minimum risk of obsolescence. <br />Items in these specifications which materially contribute to <br />equipment performance and reliability will not be compromised. <br />Bidders shall offer equipment which meets or exceeds the followinj`"' <br />specifications or an accepted equal. Determinations to accepted <br />specifications and or accepted equal will be made solely by the <br />City of Paris, Texas. <br />FAILURE TO DETAIL ALL SUCH DEVIATIONS WILL PROVIDE GROUNDS FOR <br />REJECTION OF `J hE ENTIRE PROPOSAL AS UNWORTHY OF FUTURE CONSIDERATION. <br />All costs to provide system capability as required in•these specifications <br />shall be included in the basic bid price. Bids which contain add -on <br />costs for items which are specifically called for in the specifications <br />will be rejected. <br />EVALUATION OF EQUIPMENT <br />Lvaluaticn of the equipment will be made on this basis: <br />A. Technical qualities of the proposal <br />B. Evaluation .of the bidders. understanding of the user's needs. <br />C. Cost. <br />— D.
