SECTION 1 <br />LEF REPLATLR AND ACCLSSORILs <br />9 4 <br />The radio set shall be designed and constructed as a highly reliable <br />two way Fri duplex continous duty station of proven performance over <br />years of reliable service. It shall consist of a transmitter, receiver, <br />and power supply mounted in a cabinet unit. It shall be capable of <br />operating on specific frequencies in the 450 -470 mhz. band. <br />The repeater station shall incorporate coded squelch system <br />designed to minimize reception of co- channel communications, nuisance <br />noise and skip interferance. <br />To avoid inadvertent keying of the transmitter for extended periods <br />of time which would result in channel tie -up, an automatic timer, <br />shall be includes; in the radio. The timer shall turn off the transmitter <br />after a preset interval and shall reset automatically by the push�,to <br />talk circuitry. <br />A AC line surds suppressor shall be provided and installed by the <br />successful bidder. <br />The repeater shall be installed on the communications tower .9 mile <br />SL of Loop 286 & FM 1497, Paris, Texas. <br />The repeater iaust transmit and receive simultaneously. The antenna <br />system shall consist of dulilex- capable componcts as band- pass /band <br />reject cavities, interniodulation protection panel, hroau -Land station <br />antenna with si6e mount, Heliax coaxial calla with connectors, and <br />coaxial junipers, interconnecting cables and grounding kits, as <br />enumerates' on , technical specifications. <br />
