C 22 The CONTRACTOR hereby agrees to commence work within ten (10) days after the date written notice to do so shall have been given to him, and to substantially complete the same calendar days within 45 kt x rafter the date of the written notice to commence work, subject to such extension& of time as are provided by the General and Special Conditions. THE OWNER agrees to pay the CONTRACTOR in current funds the price or prices shown in the proposal, which forma a pert of this contract, such payments to be subject to the General and Special Conditions of the contract. A motion was made by Councilman Wilson to table action of the Ordinance until -the newly elected Council Members were seated. Councilman Burnett seconded the motion which failed with 2 ayes, 5 nays. Councilman Williams made a motion, seconded by Councilman Folmar for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 5 ayes, 2 nays, Councilman Wilson and Councilman Burnett voting no. Resolution No. 86 -035 approving the Plans and Specifications, and the advertisement for bids for Drainage Improvements in the 1300 -1400 Block of 34th Street N. W. was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Folmar for adoption of the Resolution. The motion carried 1 ayes, 0 nays. ary
